1. Our commitment
Livy Voice Chat & Live Streaming (“Livy”) prohibits any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This prohibition applies across live video, voice rooms, private messages, profiles, posts, short videos, comments, gifts, links, and all other Livy features.
These standards apply even if the content is shared privately, is described as fictional, is altered or synthetic, or is located outside Livy and merely linked or directed to from Livy.
2. What CSAE and CSAM mean
Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
CSAE includes content or conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers anyone under 18. Examples include grooming, sextortion, child trafficking for sexual purposes, sexual coercion, and sexualization of a child.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
CSAM includes any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. This includes photographs, videos, livestreams, altered content, computer-generated or synthetic imagery, and other visual depictions covered by applicable law.
3. Prohibited child-safety conduct
Livy does not allow users to:
- Create, upload, livestream, request, solicit, possess, save, store, share, sell, trade, link to, or promote CSAM.
- Groom a child or build trust with a child for sexual exploitation, sexual contact, or the exchange of sexual content.
- Threaten or pressure a child to provide sexual images, video, livestreams, money, gifts, or other benefits.
- Sexually extort a child or threaten to distribute sexual or intimate content involving a child.
- Arrange, promote, facilitate, or benefit from child trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation.
- Sexualize minors through comments, roleplay, age-play, fantasy, drawings, altered media, or synthetic content.
- Offer coins, virtual gifts, status, money, opportunities, or anything of value in exchange for sexual content or conduct involving a minor.
- Identify, expose, shame, or harass a child victim or survivor.
- Help another person discover exploitative content, evade detection, or avoid enforcement.
Apparent intent does not excuse a violation. Content presented as humor, awareness, activism, or condemnation may still be removed when it unnecessarily depicts, reproduces, or directs users to exploitative material.
4. Adults-only access and suspected underage users
Livy requires users to declare their date of birth and confirm that they are at least 18. Users must not falsify their age, help a minor bypass age controls, create an account for a minor, or allow a minor to use their account.
If we reasonably believe an account belongs to a person under 18, we may immediately restrict the account while we review it and may permanently remove it. Users can report a suspected underage account through the in-app report menu by selecting the underage or child-safety category.
5. How to report a concern
Inside the Livy app
Use the Report control available on supported profiles, chats, posts, reels, live rooms, comments, and random matches. Choose Child safety or Suspected underage user when applicable. You can also block the account to stop supported interactions.
By email
Email our child-safety contact at livyoffcial@gmail.com. Include:
- The reported Livy user ID or username.
- The live room, post, reel, message, or other content identifier, if available.
- The date, time, and a concise description of what happened.
- Whether anyone appears to be in immediate danger.
Immediate danger
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or law enforcement first. Livy is not an emergency-response service.
6. How Livy responds
When Livy obtains actual knowledge of suspected CSAE or CSAM, we may take actions including:
- Prioritizing the report for safety review.
- Stopping a live session and removing or restricting access to content.
- Restricting features, suspending the account, or permanently banning involved accounts.
- Preventing repeat access and taking action against related accounts used to evade enforcement.
- Preserving relevant account and content information where legally permitted or required.
- Reporting confirmed CSAM and related information to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority when required by applicable law.
- Cooperating with valid legal requests from authorized law-enforcement agencies.
We do not notify a reported user when doing so could endanger a child, compromise an investigation, destroy evidence, or violate law.
7. Compliance and cooperation
Livy maintains processes intended to comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations. We review and update our safeguards as our service and legal obligations evolve. Our response may vary by jurisdiction, available facts, and the requirements of relevant authorities.
Our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines incorporate these standards. Violations may result in immediate and permanent account removal.
